Environmental Policy

All our live Christmas trees are returned to our base chipped and recycled back into the compost we use across all our sites.

Plants are an essential element of life on earth.

We actively promote the use of plants in the working environment and believe their importance within the workplace is often understated.

Plants improve the physical and psychological environment reducing sickness, Increasing concentration levels, improving staff happiness levels and thus increasing productivity.

We also understand that everything we do has an impact on our environment and we are constantly trying to minimise our negative impacts on both our immediate and global surroundings.

• We recycle as much as possible - all our green waste is recycled as compost and we recycle waste paper and planters whenever possible.
• 3 of our current fleet of vehicles are gas powered leading to reduced emissions of carbon monoxide and other noxious gases.
• Our interior operations have a policy of not using any chemicals for the maintenance of plants. We use biological controls together with cleaning to control all indoor pests and use only environmentally friendly chemicals when necessary outdoors.
• We have recently reduced our usage of peat by 10% and aim to incorporate further reductions over time.
